She did everything she could for us, with answering questions and also we traded in a vehicle and she did an amazing job with the negotiations. Isabel and Brett made this buying experience the best we ever had at a dealership in a long time. Brett was amazing with getting us a loan at the payments we wanted with a good warranty. Isabel stayed in touch with me for the few days I had to wait to pick up the car and let me know when the car arrived. She did everything she could for me so when I went to pick up the car all I had to do was drive and sign the sales agreement. The last time I bought a car the sale took all day. Tim Regan did a great job providing options to actually get the 2023 Toyota Tundra in the Supersonic Red in the 1794 Edition. Friends that I know who drive the Ford 150's and Chevy Silverado's who have struggled with constant recalls and quality problems now want to buy the new Tundra. Even their Chevy/Ford Dealerships string them out and are not friendly when dealing with their quality problem fixes. I have sent them to see Pappa's Toyota. And the Service department did a great job installing the Xzilon interior and exterior protective coating. Highly recommended! Jan would be proud!

I took my Toyota Tundra to their service department for an oil change and tire rotation. I didn't buy my truck from them, and I'd never been in there for service before. But you would have never known because they treated me as though I had. I had a slight issue with the tires after the service (to no fault of theirs). Gino got me right back in and fixed the problem without hesitation or headache. Great experience, fair prices for the work I had done, and outstanding customer service.

Isabel did an amazing job both times that she’s helped us. My husband bought a new truck with her in February. She did an amazing job answering all of our questions and working to find the best fit for us. Isabel even helped him connect his phone when it was being difficult. When my car kicked the bucket this month she helped us compare new cars when we were starting to look. Then when we decided that it would be out of our price range, she helped us to find a used car. Isabel went above and beyond helping us both times! Hopefully we won’t be seeing her anytime soon, but she did such a good job helping us that I know she’d do the same for other families.

Rude employee who interrupted me multiple times after
Rude employee who interrupted me multiple times after discussing price. I wanted to write about my experience at Pappas Toyota and specifically with the employee “Smilin’” Mike Wagner. I put a deposit down on a used car over the phone and went in a few days later to look at it. Once I was satisfied with the vehicle, I went into Mike’s office to discuss price. I told him what I wanted to pay and he became very rude and standoffish afterwards, telling me I wasted his time with such a lowball offer and “made him stay late” (which I made it clear in the texts that I was not likely going to buy tonight as I had to secure financing with my bank first). I told him I would like to still order one in the future but he interrupted me, said “have a nice night”, and got up to leave his office. He’s about as sleazy a car salesman as I’ve ever met, down to the ridiculous name – “Smilin’” Mike – which of course he’s only smiling until the rubber meets the road. I can’t speak for the rest of the employees, but I’d avoid this dealer simply for employing rude salespeople. After all, usually where there’s smoke, there’s fire.

I will never be back. Went to Lou fusz got $9800 more on my trade. Also I work for Toyota. I get a nice discount. I ordered the car in July its now end of November before the car even came in. They now refused to give me my Toyota employee discount. After I already put money down. Months ago. I had sold my current car an hour before, without knowing this bc they did not inform me. Now I'm without a car for a few days until our new one comes in, from Lou Fusz. I will inform all my coworkers at TMMM about this as well. Go to Lou fusz toyota. Give them their deserved 5 star review. My sales woman did her job alright. She was stuck as the middle man.

Barry Brash is the best car salesperson I've ever dealt with when purchasing cars. I've know Barry for over 20 years and we have purchased 8 cars from him not including the countless friends/family that we've sent his way. Barry is the most knowledgeable Toyota salesperson out there. He's been selling the product line for 35 years and has built a loyal customer base by being a great listener and not putting pressure on you to make a decision. We were in the market for a newer car for one my college daughters because the 2013 Toyota Camry that Barry sold us is being handed down to my youngest daughter. Barry and I were talking in the beginning of December, and I said I wanted to get a newer car for her after January 1st. He found us a 2022 Honda Insight that had low miles on it and still under factory warranty with all the service records. Needless to say, my daughter is thrilled to have a newer car that she can use to finish off college and start her career. Thanks Barry for all of your assistance! You are always great to work with!

If you are looking to buy a new or used car Barry Brash is the salesperson that you need. Not only personable (a humble big personality), his product knowledge is off the charts. We purchased a new 2024 Grand Highlander Hybrid Max Platinum he was spot on the delivery week on a SUV that is highly allocated. On delivery day he had a large red bow on the hood! He then meticulously went over the ins and outs of this awesome SUV. Purchased a new Tacoma from Pappas in late January 2021. It was extremely difficult to get information from them in a timely manner. I finally got details of the modifications days after requesting them. Salesman Tim Scanlan has stopped communication now that the sale is complete. I thought Dee was my salesperson because she was the only one providing the information I was requesting. Overall not a good experience compared to other Toyota dealers I have dealt with in the past.

Friends that I know who drive the Ford 150's and Chevy Silverado's who have struggled with constant recalls and quality problems now want to buy the new Tundra. Even their Chevy/Ford Dealerships string them out and are not friendly when dealing with their quality problem fixes. I have sent them to see Pappa's Toyota. And the Service department did a great job installing the Xzilon interior and exterior protective coating. Highly recommended! Jan would be proud!

Well as much as i like toyota i had to buy a used car from them , the first car while it looked and ran good was a bust , i had to have them come tow it out of my driveway , , it was infested with some kind of carpet bugs that bit us and got on my clothes, the manager told me he would work with me in getting another car , so we bought a 2016 Nissan rogue SV, very nice car, so we took it home then for a long drive , it started smelling like rotten eggs, i was furious, i called and the general manager promised to fix it, he did have it fixed , but he also promised to get us an owner's manual for it, that has been a couple weeks ago , and we still have not been able to register it because they have not sent us the title as yet either So I have no true records of its being serviced just what was reported to car fax. Which is iffy at best .The sales man did not cover any of the addons, i still have no idea how to use most of the buttons,and how to do this or that , i have had to guess how to turn on the wipers and headlights i had to figure how to program the navigation and sirus and the bluetooth ,still have no idea how to open the skylight , but i did figure out how to use the key bob to open and close the tail gate , So as much as i like toyota and believe me i have had many toyotas since my first toyota hilux that i bought brand new with 14 miles on it for $ 2,175. and change In April of 1970.I have to give the dealership a below average rating . You read it right 2 thousand 1 hundred and 75 dollars , Loved that little truck, it was like a little mule it went where jeeps could only hope to go .

Summary of the rating is that eventually the team fixed my vehicle but it took a long time (over 2 weeks total, and the repair estimate was 8-10 hours) with poor communication and a few bumps along the way. I can say based on my experience this dealer’s service team will try to make sure all of your issues are taken care of when performing a repair, assuming you push back on things that don’t quite make sense. Can’t say that I’d recommend them but I do feel that if you choose them they will perform honest work and the people are very nice.

I have been in contact with them since June 23 on a safety recall and another issue. Every time I call Paul in service he always tells me he will call me back and never does. I took my 2021 Toyota Highlander in for its normal
I took my 2021 Toyota Highlander in for its normal service. Several weeks after that appointment I notice a pulse when breaking on the highway. I set up a 2nd appointment and they told me the front rotors was bad due to hard breaking and riding my break. Which I do not do either. I car was at 24772 on miles and 27 months. The dealership was not offering any help. I sent an email to Mike Pappas without any acknowledgement. I the called the Toyota hot line and set up a COMPLANT. They agreed with me that it was interesting, that the dealership just inspected the car, and everything appeared to be ok. How did the rotor go bad in two weeks. Toyota corp. is going to reimburse me for the entire cost. This is my 2nd lease and maybe my last due to not feeling the dealership was going to offer and assistance.

Upon purchase of the truck, the dealership Pappas, and I agreed via contract to have a bed liner sprayed in via appointment with a chosen company that Pappa's Toyota contracts to. Upon getting my truck back I found bed liner overspray on my truck's driver side doors, windows, running boards, and roof. I took my truck back to the dealership, who then sent it into the company they contracted to have the bed liner sprayed in. Prior to it being sent in, I told Pappa's service manager that under no circumstances were rubbing compounds to be used on my truck, or I would like a new truck. The service manager acknowledged that he understood, and two additional Pappa's sales associates were there to witness. Upon getting my truck back and to my house, I found swirl marks from rubbing compound on my truck. At this point I called the company that Pappa's contracted out and verified they did in fact use rubbing compound on my truck. Not only that, but that they had informed Pappa's who did not tell me, and instead told the contractor they would buff it out. I have asked for a new truck repeatedly after trying to negotiate with both Pappa's and the actual contracted company for a much lesser compensation to which they refused. Pappa's refuses to take any ownership, stating it is not their fault. I did not contract out the company, Pappa's did, and their complete unwillingness to replace the truck or pay any cost at that point is beyond ridiculous. Not to mention their dishonesty about knowing a product being used on my truck when I had asked them specifically not to. I then spoke with the GM at Pappas and he asked me to bring my truck in to look at. Because Missouri is a one party consent, I recorded this conversation. Two of their service department members acknowledged that the truck had rubbing compound used on the truck and that they had missed spots when trying to buff the truck . In addition, they acknowledged that buffers they had used damaged the clear coat to my truck. At this point I asked for the truck to be shot with a clear coat/paint gun to verify damage as the GM did not “see” it. He then asked what that would prove if there was damage done to the truck. Again, I told the GM I would be willing to settle for less and asked for wheels for the truck in compensation as I wanted to be done with the situation. I gave him the cost for the wheels that was quoted from the third-party company that had put overspray on my truck and asked them to pay the cost. At this time, I asked to speak to the owner of the dealership to gain approval and was told he was not there. I ended up calling the owner and speaking with him. When we talked, he said he was aware of the situation, as I told him as an owner of a business, I thought he may like to know. I asked if he would like to hear what happened, to which he told me, “He has heard my side of the story”. Because of his dismissive attitude I was not able to tell him that his GM claimed not to know what a Toyota customer satisfaction survey was, and that as a GM he would not worry about these minor issues to my truck if it was him. Not only that, but I should not call the regional office in Kansas City, or file a BBB report which holds Papppa’s accountable, or file a complaint with the state’s attorney general’s office as it was just a minor issue and the legal work would be messy. The GM is clearly used to rolling over people who are not comfortable with conflict. Long story longer, I got the wheels at the cost of the third parties’ company which goes against the BBB regulations. I have bought three vehicles in three years from here and will not be back. I will take my truck to another dealership for the free services. Feel terrible for the 3rd party company as they are stand up guys. I know Pappa's called them with an offer to cover half the wheel cost. What a joke!

My experience with Mark was outstanding. I sent them an email Sunday night and Monday morning they called to set up an appointment and actually had the truck I was looking at ready for me when I got there. I really feel like Mark went above and beyond any salesman I have ever dealt with. Even when other customers were calling him and demanding his time, he made sure he constantly checked on us even while we were waiting for the finance guy to finish up our paperwork. It was the first time in my almost 30 years of buying cars from dealers, that I felt like I was more than just another sale.
