Despite the inclement weather, Ryan was more than helpful on our first visit—and it was that visit that laid the groundwork with Ryan for purchasing, the very next day, my “certified pre-owned” 2019 Highlander! I had been using PAPPAS TOYOTA for service on my 2014 SIENNA but this was my first experience with buying a car at PAPPAS. Needless to say this was ANOTHER great experience at this dealership. Alexander and Pappas Toyota were GREAT!! What a great experience we had at Pappas Toyota with Alexander!! He is friendly, courteous, professional, he never pressured us a bit, and definitely took care of our needs as we were shopping for a new Sienna. During this Covid-19 pandemic, Alexander worked everything out over the phone with us and delivered our new minivan right to our doorstep so that we never had to leave the house. What a great sales experience we had with Alexander!! Also, Brett Bales was great on the finance side and kept our wonderful experience with Pappas smooth and enjoyable. I have been going to Pappas since I bought my first Toyota in 2013. This dealership does a great job of making you feel welcome, comfortable, and that they have your best interest in mind. Working with Barry was no exception to the wonderful service I already receive, but made the process of buying (turning into leasing) a new car fun. Barry wasn't pushy and talked to us like he genuinely cared, telling us about his dogs and hockey, which made that great connection with my husband and I. We've both worked in sales and I know there is always a drive to push and get the sale now but I never felt pushed/rushed into anything. He had us laughing the whole time and made the process pretty seamless. Jamie then came into the picture for financing and also helped as greatly. With just buying a house, student loans, and some credit debt, our scores weren't Excellent or even Good, but she was able to get us approved for the exact car we came in for within minutes. Barry helped keep the monthly payment extremely close to what I had in mind and something I honestly didn't think was going to happen. I would definitely recommend Pappas and Barry to anyone looking to buy or lease. I know we will be going back at the end of the lease to Barry!

Blake C. - Extremely helpful. Made the process painless.

I spotted the car I was interested in on the Pappas Toyota website. I called to verify it was in stock and made an appointment to see it the next afternoon. Everything about the car was exactly as advertised. Having access to the Car Fax online was a nice touch. Blake was very courteous and didn't push after I test drove the car. I wanted by wife to see it before I made a final decision. Jamie handled the financial paperwork efficiently. The car was very well prepped, immaculately clean, and filled before I left the dealership. Blake is also trying to locate the previous owner to acquire the second vehicle key. This is the second used vehicle we have purchased from Pappas and we will recommend this dealership to friends and family.

Another postive deal

This is my 4th vehicle from Pappas Toyota. Starting in 2004. I have been pleased with the dealership and used the service and repair shop. Watched it move and grow. Blake was very helpful and suggested several ideas and showed different styles and hunted for me the one I wanted. We went on test drives. Polite and NOT pushy, which was good for me. Informative and knowledgeable. He kept me informed about ordering, delivering and pick schedules. He came in on his Paternity leave to deliver my RAV-4 to to me. :)

Was it just coincidence, an honest mistake or something else

I guess they say hindsight is 20/20, what a year for that phrase. Also, if its too good to be true, it probably is, yup that’s for sure. Trust but verify is another good one, but who needs trust when you have used car salesman that are the most upstanding honest creatures on this earth? I really don’t enjoy having to write this all out and broadcasting, but if the sales folks are asking for my review, then all I can do is be honest. I was an out of town buyer and so I asked a ton of questions and asked for additional pictures over text and email over several days because I wanted to do my due diligence because I’ve been burned on deals before. The vehicle was a few hours away, so I clearly needed to do my homework to justify the time and gas money. In the end, I trusted the information I was given because this wasn’t some fly by night dealership, I figured they knew their stuff and weren’t in the habit of misleading people, because I couldn’t imagine a Toyota dealer employing such people. Also, even though the vehicle was listed “as is no warranty” I knew I was incurring a certain level of risk, but hey if someone says they have a one owner Toyota with roughly 100k miles that’s been serviced at their dealership most of its life and is really clean with no mechanical issues, then why not? Never mind that its has some accident history from a few years ago, the airbags didn’t deploy so it wasn’t a big deal, right? Come to find out there was MAJOR structural damage, as in a significant part of the frame was replaced. Somehow that detail didn’t come up over phone, email, text, and in person, what a coincidence. Then there’s the conversation about verifying the wet matter I could see near the power steering pump on the passenger side of the engine after the test drive. Some major power steering repairs were done, could we have service check that out a minute? The ensuing response, its too late on a Friday for that, we don’t have a service guy available, besides it just got out of detail so I think there’s just some water still on there. Unfortunately I trusted them too much at that point because I had been blinded by their false assurances. That should have been a clear signal and I should have driven home right then, but I didn’t. I figured the service guys had checked things over enough times because they spend a few thousand in service so why push the issue? Speaking of service, allegedly there was a pre-sales multi-point inspection that was performed by their service department, as of this writing they haven’t produced it even though it is supposed to be available online (somehow its just missing!). I requested the documents a few times and the best I was provided was the service order for the few thousands in repair they put in, so I figured since they repaired those items, they must have hit the high points and anything else outstanding would be minor, wrong! Turns out that when I brought the then purchased vehicle to my local Toyota dealership, after paying them to perform a multipoint inspection, they found that the alleged power steering wetness was engine oil and the entire back side of the engine was covered in oil! I wonder where that came from? Side note, it only took a few days for the local dealer’s inspection to show up online. It seems at this point the pre-sale inspection report has gone missing...stay tuned I guess? I did my best to escalate my concerns with the sales manager and unfortunately I got the “as is” cold shoulder. In the past week, I’ve spoken the most with the service manager who has been really helpful and seems genuinely stumped by the situation. I can’t imagine this situation recreating itself at any major dealer, but this shows its possible, so my advice to anyone out there is to just be careful and follow those old sayings I started with.

Patrick checked me in at 8am and was cheerful and upbeat. He verified all my information and made sure I knew what service would be performed. He told me it would take about an hour and 15 minutes and he came to get me from the waiting area almost to the minute. Once back in the garage Patrick explained everything that was done on my vehicle and made sure to ask if I had any questions.

20,000 mile service

As always the service was on time and complete. Each employee I came in contact with was courteous and greeted me with a smile. I have had my cars serviced there many times and have never had a problem with any of the staff beginning with arriving there until I left. Pat Ragan took good care of me and my car. Unscheduled Visit

On a Friday afternoon getting ready to run an errand, my 2009 Highlander Hybrid wouldn't start. It had sat in the garage for about a week while we were gone on vacation. All of my dashboard lights came on, but the vehicle wouldn't start. Instead, the message center displayed "Have the dealer check the brake system." After looking under the vehicle and not seeing any vehicle fluids under it, I tried starting the vehicle twice more, but each time the result was the same. I called the Pappas Toyota service department and asked to talk with Pat Ragan, the customer service advisor who I routinely request. However, he was busy with another customer. I left my cell phone number for him to call me back, and my wife and I prepared to leave the house in our other vehicle. But before leaving, I decided to try the Highlander one more time. On this try, the vehicle started. After running it for several minutes, I turned it off, then immediately started the vehicle, again. Having confidence it would start should I turn it off, my wife followed me in our other vehicle as I made a couple of stops before we went to the dealership. As I pulled into the open air customer vehicle drop-off area at 4:30 p.m. on a VERY HOT Friday afternoon for an unscheduled service appointment, Patrick, who was already a half-hour past his scheduled quitting time and sweating profusely, spotted me and asked me what was up. I explained to him what had happened. Patrick immediately explained that what I was describing made sense if the battery had a bad cell or was going out. Patrick pulled the vehicle out onto the parking lot because he had to clean the corrosion off the battery terminals, and he tested the battery, which indicated it was not delivering it's rated cold start amps. Coupled with the manufacturing date on the battery, Patrick felt we had a good diagnosis. However, he decided to check to see if the vehicle computer stored any ABS codes from when it wouldn't start up for me. After verifying there weren't any codes stored, Patrick explained a few options to me, including doing nothing and just monitoring the issue until my next service appointment through replacing the battery now. After I had him look up he installation date on the battery (just under 4-years), Patrick explained to me that Toyota's pro-rated replacement plan for the battery, which was clearly under performing its rating and age. I decided to replace the battery immediately. Patrick told me he would work to get it in before the shop closed at 6:00 p.m. so I wouldn't have to leave the vehicle overnight. In addition, he said he would call me when the vehicle was done. While my wife and I had a nice evening meal, the vehicle was serviced. Patrick called me a few minutes before 6:00 p.m. to let me know the vehicle was done, and I could stop in any time up until 9:00 p.m. to pay for the service and pick the vehicle up, which we did at 8:00 p.m. Patrick went well beyond the call of duty to help me out of a difficult situation with my Highlander. Not only did he stay well after his scheduled shift on a Friday afternoon in hot sweltering conditions, but he also diligently checked out my vehicle for me to help me decide on a course of action. In addition, Patrick also worked with the shop to work in my vehicle with less than two hours left in the day, so I wouldn't have to leave the vehicle overnight, AND he didn't charge me extra for his diagnostic work. It is no wonder I ALWAYS ask for Patrick when I schedule my maintenance service with Pappas Toyota, and it is why I will keep bringing my Highlander back to Pappas Toyota time and time again for servicing. "Customer Care" isn't just a slogan for Patrick but rather his demonstrated work ethic. To me, Patrick isn't just my customer service advisor but also a trusted friend.

Great, no hassle, no pressure service from Tony and Mike

Found this low mileage 2015 Camaro SS on the website and drove 40 miles to check it out. As a former dealership mechanic for 20yrs, I was pleased to find the car was better than expected , well prepped and test drive ready. Even though I had only planned to inspect car that morning- did not bring my checkbook or loan info on my trade - Tony and Mike were able to get all the info to close the deal in a couple of hours so I did not have to make a second trip on Saturday, this included having to do additional title and tax paperwork because I live in IL and they are in MO. From the ladies on the phone and at the front desk to the people who prepped the car to put it on the lot, the Pappas team did a great job.

I have been going to Pappas since I bought my first Toyota in 2013. This dealership does a great job of making you feel welcome, comfortable, and that they have your best interest in mind. Working with Barry was no exception to the wonderful service I already receive, but made the process of buying (turning into leasing) a new car fun. Barry wasn't pushy and talked to us like he genuinely cared, telling us about his dogs and hockey, which made that great connection with my husband and I. We've both worked in sales and I know there is always a drive to push and get the sale now but I never felt pushed/rushed into anything. He had us laughing the whole time and made the process pretty seamless. Jamie then came into the picture for financing and also helped as greatly. With just buying a house, student loans, and some credit debt, our scores weren't Excellent or even Good, but she was able to get us approved for the exact car we came in for within minutes. Barry helped keep the monthly payment extremely close to what I had in mind and something I honestly didn't think was going to happen. I would definitely recommend Pappas and Barry to anyone looking to buy or lease. I know we will be going back at the end of the lease to Barry!

20,000 mile service

Was it just coincidence, an honest mistake or something else

I guess they say hindsight is 20/20, what a year for that phrase. Also, if its too good to be true, it probably is, yup that’s for sure. Trust but verify is another good one, but who needs trust when you have used car salesman that are the most upstanding honest creatures on this earth? I really don’t enjoy having to write this all out and broadcasting, but if the sales folks are asking for my review, then all I can do is be honest. I was an out of town buyer and so I asked a ton of questions and asked for additional pictures over text and email over several days because I wanted to do my due diligence because I’ve been burned on deals before. The vehicle was a few hours away, so I clearly needed to do my homework to justify the time and gas money. In the end, I trusted the information I was given because this wasn’t some fly by night dealership, I figured they knew their stuff and weren’t in the habit of misleading people, because I couldn’t imagine a Toyota dealer employing such people. Also, even though the vehicle was listed “as is no warranty” I knew I was incurring a certain level of risk, but hey if someone says they have a one owner Toyota with roughly 100k miles that’s been serviced at their dealership most of its life and is really clean with no mechanical issues, then why not? Never mind that its has some accident history from a few years ago, the airbags didn’t deploy so it wasn’t a big deal, right? Come to find out there was MAJOR structural damage, as in a significant part of the frame was replaced. Somehow that detail didn’t come up over phone, email, text, and in person, what a coincidence. Then there’s the conversation about verifying the wet matter I could see near the power steering pump on the passenger side of the engine after the test drive. Some major power steering repairs were done, could we have service check that out a minute? The ensuing response, its too late on a Friday for that, we don’t have a service guy available, besides it just got out of detail so I think there’s just some water still on there. Unfortunately I trusted them too much at that point because I had been blinded by their false assurances. That should have been a clear signal and I should have driven home right then, but I didn’t. I figured the service guys had checked things over enough times because they spend a few thousand in service so why push the issue? Speaking of service, allegedly there was a pre-sales multi-point inspection that was performed by their service department, as of this writing they haven’t produced it even though it is supposed to be available online (somehow its just missing!). I requested the documents a few times and the best I was provided was the service order for the few thousands in repair they put in, so I figured since they repaired those items, they must have hit the high points and anything else outstanding would be minor, wrong! Turns out that when I brought the then purchased vehicle to my local Toyota dealership, after paying them to perform a multipoint inspection, they found that the alleged power steering wetness was engine oil and the entire back side of the engine was covered in oil! I wonder where that came from? Side note, it only took a few days for the local dealer’s inspection to show up online. It seems at this point the pre-sale inspection report has gone missing...stay tuned I guess? I did my best to escalate my concerns with the sales manager and unfortunately I got the “as is” cold shoulder. In the past week, I’ve spoken the most with the service manager who has been really helpful and seems genuinely stumped by the situation. I can’t imagine this situation recreating itself at any major dealer, but this shows its possible, so my advice to anyone out there is to just be careful and follow those old sayings I started with.

I have been leasing from these people for 12 years. My most recent experience was horrible! Our sales guy Joe Herman was GREAT in the beginning. They did everything they could over email and phone to line up our sale. But once we got to the dealership to pick up our car, everything changed. When we arrived nothing was ready! The car was still sitting in the showroom. Joe was busy working another sale with a new customer and completely did not care about us. Wanted us to sign the paper work and move on. He did not show us the car, he did not go over any of the features. We even received the card with 1/4 of a tank of gas, they could not even fill it up for us!!! The entire time we were their waiting it felt like he could care less about us because he had made the sale and was working a new one. We sat there for over an hour waiting for him to even come get the car out of the showroom and give us the second key once we had signed! ANOTHER sales person had to finally help us. Then when the deal was done and a month later everything he told us was false. We were over our milage on the car and I asked about that. He stated when he was making the deal that if I came in that month Pappas would void it. Well, a month later and we received a bill for the overage. Then when I tried to address it with him over email and a call, no response. BUT I have tracking on my emails since I am in tech and I know he has read the emails but is choosing to not answer them. Horrible experience. I feel like I was pushed and customer service was great, up until I signed. Once I signed they did not care. Surprised as this is my 5 car with Pappas and this has never happened before. Blow away.

Was it just coincidence, an honest mistake or something else

I guess they say hindsight is 20/20, what a year for that phrase. Also, if its too good to be true, it probably is, yup that’s for sure. Trust but verify is another good one, but who needs trust when you have used car salesman that are the most upstanding honest creatures on this earth? I really don’t enjoy having to write this all out and broadcasting, but if the sales folks are asking for my review, then all I can do is be honest. I was an out of town buyer and so I asked a ton of questions and asked for additional pictures over text and email over several days because I wanted to do my due diligence because I’ve been burned on deals before. The vehicle was a few hours away, so I clearly needed to do my homework to justify the time and gas money. In the end, I trusted the information I was given because this wasn’t some fly by night dealership, I figured they knew their stuff and weren’t in the habit of misleading people, because I couldn’t imagine a Toyota dealer employing such people. Also, even though the vehicle was listed “as is no warranty” I knew I was incurring a certain level of risk, but hey if someone says they have a one owner Toyota with roughly 100k miles that’s been serviced at their dealership most of its life and is really clean with no mechanical issues, then why not? Never mind that its has some accident history from a few years ago, the airbags didn’t deploy so it wasn’t a big deal, right? Come to find out there was MAJOR structural damage, as in a significant part of the frame was replaced. Somehow that detail didn’t come up over phone, email, text, and in person, what a coincidence. Then there’s the conversation about verifying the wet matter I could see near the power steering pump on the passenger side of the engine after the test drive. Some major power steering repairs were done, could we have service check that out a minute? The ensuing response, its too late on a Friday for that, we don’t have a service guy available, besides it just got out of detail so I think there’s just some water still on there. Unfortunately I trusted them too much at that point because I had been blinded by their false assurances. That should have been a clear signal and I should have driven home right then, but I didn’t. I figured the service guys had checked things over enough times because they spend a few thousand in service so why push the issue? Speaking of service, allegedly there was a pre-sales multi-point inspection that was performed by their service department, as of this writing they haven’t produced it even though it is supposed to be available online (somehow its just missing!). I requested the documents a few times and the best I was provided was the service order for the few thousands in repair they put in, so I figured since they repaired those items, they must have hit the high points and anything else outstanding would be minor, wrong! Turns out that when I brought the then purchased vehicle to my local Toyota dealership, after paying them to perform a multipoint inspection, they found that the alleged power steering wetness was engine oil and the entire back side of the engine was covered in oil! I wonder where that came from? Side note, it only took a few days for the local dealer’s inspection to show up online. It seems at this point the pre-sale inspection report has gone missing...stay tuned I guess? I did my best to escalate my concerns with the sales manager and unfortunately I got the “as is” cold shoulder. In the past week, I’ve spoken the most with the service manager who has been really helpful and seems genuinely stumped by the situation. I can’t imagine this situation recreating itself at any major dealer, but this shows its possible, so my advice to anyone out there is to just be careful and follow those old sayings I started with.

Going the extra mile....

When I stopped by the Pappas dealership late in the evening on a Friday, a salesperson approached me and offered to assist me. Joe Herman introduced himself and we walked to the vehicle I was interested in and found that it had just been sold to another dealership in the KC metro area. When I got back to the dealership after a test drive of a different vehicle, Joe had located an exact match for the one I had come to the dealership to see. Joe called me within a few days and informed me that he had the keys to the vehicle I wanted to purchase and I was able to come out to the dealership and complete the deal. Joe was very positive throughout the whole process and kept me informed as he obtained the exact vehicle I wanted to purchase. His effort to search for the car that met my specifications, friendly attitude, and low-pressure style helped make the Pappas experience a positive one. I recommend going to Pappas and asking for Joe if you are looking to purchase a new Toyota without the high pressure sales tactics I have encountered at other area dealerships.

I took my Highlander in for a routine oil change and first of all, Chris Bank greeted me at the desk with such professionalism and was very courteous! He mentioned it would take about an hour and it only took around 20 minutes! I also asked about a letter I had received through Toyota and he looked into the matter even further, which he did on his own! This is always a pleasant experience at this dealership!!

Brian did not presssure me when I came in to look and test drive a Toyota SUV. When I came back to purchase the next week I asked for Brian.He was not available at the time but worked with Alexander..Both gentleman answered my questions and helped with the sale as the Rav 4 we picked out had to be brought in. Also car mats had to be ordered.Brian took care of everything and personally put in my car mats. I was very pleased.

We purchased a Corolla in 2015 from Fergy, so we sought him for our recent purchase of the 2019 Rav 4. We had researched the vehicle for the past 6 months and knew what we wanted. Fergy listened and delivered. Although we waited a few days, we were not disappointed. The entire experience was positive. This is our 3 rd Toyota but will not be our last.

Had a problem on a road trip from the Chicago suburbs to Kansas City. Couldn’t figure it out. Our hotel in the St Louis area recommended Pappas Toyota. I called and the Service Manager said, “Come right in; we don’t want you driving with an unsafe condition.” A Service Rep was waiting when we arrived. He diagnosed the problem. They got us right in. fixed it & got us back on the road. Great service, which we very much appreciated.

This visit was for free, regularly scheduled maintenance. In addition, they took care of a software upgrade for a recall. While rotating my tires they noticed a problem and let me know about it. Due to the 2-story, 2-bedroom potholes in Missouri, I needed an alignment. This was handled quickly. The atmosphere at the dealership is friendly and relaxed.

Why buy any where else!

This testimonial is well over due! My experience started almost 15 years ago as a little kid seeing my parents come home with a new car, from Tom Pappas Toyota of course. I never understood why they’ve bought approximately 4-5 cars from Pappas until it was my turn to buy as a 18 year old teenager ready to make my first major purchase. I of course had to use Mark Garner because well, that’s who my parents trusted and referred. I bought a 2009 Scion tC, which meant no way to negotiate which meant pure pricing back then! I’ve had my ups and downs with my tc, bought her July 3, 2008. lets fast forward and talk about what seemed to me a very simple recall, regarding my car burning through a ton of oil, not good with cars but that’s the English version. I remember calling Chris Banks in a panic because my car was driving very “rocky”. Of course he knew about the recall, told me to drive it up to so many miles so they can track the consumption per Toyota to figure out my issue. I drove away, got 1 minute away and freaked out! Called Chris and he said please come back and go from there. He was so good with keeping me calm and explaining the issues. Come to find out I almost blew a rod, what ever that meant, found out could have destroyed my engine and my car would essentially be non drivable. Chris immediately put me in a loaner and said he would look at her in more depth. Make a long story short, the oil piston recall if I’m using correct terms resulted in the damage. The damage would cost me roughly $7,000 in repairs including labor and rental. I was in no state of mind to drop that kind of money, she’s been paid off for roughly 2 years at this time. Oh and she unfortunely was not worth $7,000. This is where Kyle, Chris, myself and the Vice President which I believe was Tom Pappas son had a private conversation with how we were going to resolve this unepected surprise. Most dealerships would hand me the 1-800 number and say take it up with Toyota, because it’s a Toyota recall, not the dealerships issue. When I say this dealership went above and beyond, that would be an understatement. My out of pocket expense cost me nothing, they figured out the repair cost directly with Toyota! I remember Kyle calling me with the news and I was so happy and appreciative! They easily could have started the whole conversation with buying a new car but they didn’t. They recognized the many many years of loyalty myself and my parents had to Tom Pappas! I tell this story to a lot of people when buying/servicing their vehicle to go straight to Tom Pappas! Tom Pappas I really hope you recognize your team, I’ve never had any negative experience with any of your staff members. Do I have my go to favorites, well of course! Without those people, who knows what kind of car I’d be driving or how much debt I’d be in! As much as I’m dreading buying a new car, I just can’t listen to other people recommending dealerships and sales people to me. I laugh and smile and respond with telling them I have my people and place to buy my next car! Biggest shout out to Mark Garner who I bought my first car from, Chris banks who is always there to answer my silly odd questions and of course goes above and beyond without question, to Kyle who is service supervisor who went to battle with Toyota regarding my major car repair, to the Vice President at the time, I’m sorry I don’t recall his name, young fella who was extremely helpful as well! I was an out of state buyer and I’m sure my salesman thought he’d never see me. With that in mind, he still found the exact car and answered every one of my questions with multiple emails, texts and photos. I met with him and he showed me my new car! I drove it home. This is my 3rd new car purchase at Pappas. I’ve never been disappointed.

After shopping online and getting pricing local and beyond I went to Pappas because of selection and price. I was pleasantly surprised . Anthony patiently showed us a bunch of different models and options. We easily settled on a good price.We did not have to go and play the haggle game. The finance people were able to match rates with my credit union and were very nice. I have bought close to 25 new cars and this was way above the norm.

Quality, courtesy, and professionalism at it's finest!

I was searching for a new car that fit my needs and did a lot of internet research, so I narrowed my choices down to a few cars. The next chore was to find exactly the right car and dealership. I visited several dealers and drove a few of the cars and my search narrowed even further to a Toyota Camry Hybrid. After visiting a few Toyota dealers in the area, one stood out way above the others: Pappas Toyota in St.Peters! From the first visit, I was impressed with everything about the dealership, especially the salesman, Nick Yuede. He was very friendly and knowledgeable without any pressure and showed me all of the models and explained the different Camry models and the advantages of each. He also offered me to test drive any or all that I wanted to see which was the best fit. After that test drive I was hooked, what a great car. I liked everything about it. A few days later I brought my wife back to see the car and she loved it also. Then came the part of car buying that we all dread...making the deal. I was again impressed with Nick and the dealership because negotiation was quick and direct, no games! The dealer offers an additional warranty and Toyota's incentive of 0% financing for 5 yrs. and $1,000 cash back sealed the deal for us. I added a few extras on the car, pinstriping and body side molding, and the Zylon treatment on the paint and interior of the car. We had to bring the car back for that yesterday and again, I was greatly impressed with Bryan that took the time to explain everything and even arranged for the person doing the pinstriping to put a few different colors on the car to see which looked best. When we picked the car up after the addition of the extras, it looked better than ever! I saw Nick who came out with me to see it and seemed as happy as I was with the result. Pappas Toyota and their employees made this the most enjoyable car buying experience in my many years of doing this. Everything about the dealership, the sales, service, and the car exceeded my expectations!

My husband Lee and I have purchased at least seven new...

My husband Lee and I have purchased at least seven new Toyota's from Tom Pappas. I have never liked the back and forth between sales and my husband, so knowing that, I just sit back and try to ignore that whole procedure. Because Toyota's require very little maintainence, we usually took them to a local mechanic for service. Shortly after I had new tires put on my 2009 Camry, I began to sense that this mechanic was not honest. In November I took the Camry into Pappas because they were offering a special. I was very pleased with their work and the fact that Bryan took time to listen to my frustrations. After that Lee brought his FJ Cruiser in for service and was also very pleased that Pappas replaced some items that the other mechanic never mentioned. The Camry was a good car but stepping into it after I had a Highlander was not a good idea. Because the Camry sets lower, I was constantly running over curbs and took out the side of a women's vehicle while turning into a parking space. I had met and talked with Jessica Vargas at one point and was most impressed with how knowledgeable she was about the Toyota product. I had decided that she was who I wanted to work with if I bought another Highlander. Then I spotted the RAV4 and......... Last week we picked up our new 2011 RAV4 from Jessica. She is outstanding, along with Chrissie and Eric, the Delivery Specialists, who went through every detail on the RAV4. What a great idea these Delivery Specialists are! The whole purchase process was outstanding.

20,000 mile service

As always the service was on time and complete. Each employee I came in contact with was courteous and greeted me with a smile. I have had my cars serviced there many times and have never had a problem with any of the staff beginning with arriving there until I left. Pat Ragan took good care of me and my car. I will always take my car for maintenance or repair to Pappas Toyota, because of mainly 3 people, 1st Josh Brown ,mechanic, superb mechanic, always fixed or maintained right. 2nd Paul Nettler super nice professional service writer, he knows his stuff.3rd car sales guy named Mark Garner, always nice and friendly, even after the sale, still takes the time to say Hi and see how things are going, great guy to deal with also. I told him what I wanted in a vehicle, and in a matter of days he got us what we needed. Great guy.

I received flier in the mail for service specials and...

I received flier in the mail for service specials and needing wheel alignment I was interested. The flier had a scratch off that would indicated if I would receive a additional discount. I received a $60 discount on the work and was sure I would be pressured into additional work, costing a lot more. I was surprised that this was not the case and was treated great. Would recommend Pappas to my friends. Jim ps I thought the " help us toot our bugle was confusing, so I just went to your web site.

From the moment you pull up, you are assisted quickly. This dealership understands that your time is important and doesn't cut corners on the quality of your visit. Paul Nettler knew I was there for an oil change and gave our car an overall inspection and told me with no pressure what needed done. He gave me no hassling pricing with a print out. I appreciate that he answered my questions and treated me with respect. He offered a complimentary car wash, which I took without hesitation. The savings alone for the car wash, overall inspection, quality of work and oil change is worth coming to this location. I also enjoy the amenities while waiting, comfortable seating, a child play room, putt putt golf, optional nail service and clean private restrooms. Thank you for providing the extras and not skimping on all aspects of customer service.

My experience with Mark was outstanding. I sent them an email Sunday night and Monday morning they called to set up an appointment and actually had the truck I was looking at ready for me when I got there. I really feel like Mark went above and beyond any salesman I have ever dealt with. Even when other customers were calling him and demanding his time, he made sure he constantly checked on us even while we were waiting for the finance guy to finish up our paperwork. When I say this dealership went above and beyond, that would be an understatement. My out of pocket expense cost me nothing, they figured out the repair cost directly with Toyota! I remember Kyle calling me with the news and I was so happy and appreciative! They easily could have started the whole conversation with buying a new car but they didn’t. They recognized the many many years of loyalty myself and my parents had to Tom Pappas! I tell this story to a lot of people when buying/servicing their vehicle to go straight to Tom Pappas! Tom Pappas I really hope you recognize your team, I’ve never had any negative experience with any of your staff members. Do I have my go to favorites, well of course! Without those people, who knows what kind of car I’d be driving or how much debt I’d be in! As much as I’m dreading buying a new car, I just can’t listen to other people recommending dealerships and sales people to me. I laugh and smile and respond with telling them I have my people and place to buy my next car! Biggest shout out to Mark Garner who I bought my first car from, Chris banks who is always there to answer my silly odd questions and of course goes above and beyond without question, to Kyle who is service supervisor who went to battle with Toyota regarding my major car repair, to the Vice President at the time, I’m sorry I don’t recall his name, young fella who was extremely helpful as well! Used Car Buying Experience

My experience at Pappas Toyota was nothing but outstanding. These days you don’t get service like you used to, but that’s not the case at Pappas Toyota. Everyone from the receptionist, sale reps, and finance department were the best. Everyone was very nice, welcoming, warm and friendly. Mike Pappas was excellent to work with, very accommodating and answered all my questions. If any one is looking for a used or new vehicle I highly recommend choosing Pappas Toyota first. Pappas Toyota made the experience of buying a used Truck very enjoyable

This was my first time going to buy a car from a dealership. I was not sure if they were going to pressure me into get a car they wanted me to have that wasn't for me. I would have never thought that people that deal with everyone bs would be so friendly. I first talked to Ryan Ferguson about geting a car online. He talked to Jamie in the finance department to help me get financed. When it was time to go in to look at cars Mike Pappas was the one who showed me the cars and helped me fine one that I wanted. Mike didn't really know what me and Ryan talked about but that didnt stop him from helping me. Mike never forgot me name or my job he never made me feel rushed it was like talking to an old friend. I know if I have any questions I could call Mike Pappas and he would answer them and if he didnt know the answer he would find out and call me. When the time comes to get a differnt car I know the first person I'm going to call is Mike Pappas.

Dave explains the work being performed in great detail.

My front brake caliper rusted off after 16 months. Even though it was past the 12 month warranty Pappas paid for the new part. Dave was very helpful in explaining to me how the part worked and why it was a part issue and not something like the installation of new tires that I had done several weeks before. I appreciated the time he spent helping me understand the issue.

I was involved in a car accident. I was at the dealership to get an estimate of the damage. When Ron Callahan came out to do the paperwork the first thing he asked was whether or not I had been injured. He was very sincere and assured me that they could take care of the car and the most important thing was that I wasn't hurt. Everytime I have been to Pappas for service I have had great service. I look forward to going there because I feel special. They have service down!!!

I needed a dent in the door of my Rav4 repaired. Rob gave me two options and explained each one. He was able to do the repair the same day and kept me informed of the status while I waited. I was so thankful to get the repair done and Rob was a pleasure to work with. Since I moved to the St. Charles ares 15 months ago I have had my Rav4 serviced at Pappas Toyota and have had a very positive experience each time I came in.
